We have fawned many a time before over our love of all things Gucci. Just about everything they put out, from clothing to handbags, gives us a warm fuzzy feeling and makes us feel giddy inside.
The newest Gucci purses for this season do not disappoint. Keeping with the metallic theme that is still quite hot, they really do catch people's eye and look great with almost anything. We love the basic black and white versions of their new bags for their classic look but really love the metallics because they are so appropriate for summer and can dress up anything, even drab colors or washed out fabrics.
Unfortunately, drab colors and washed out (or up) fabrics is all you will be able to afford if you buy a Gucci Pelham bag at $2,250. The Horsebit hobo may seem like a bargain in comparison at $1095 a pop, but only relative to the budget-busting Pelham.

Gucci Pelham- $2250!

Gucci Hobo- $1095!
We here at Baghaus don’t think you should have to go without food for a month in order to buy a Gucci bag, which is why we have designed these inspired Pelham and Horsebit styles. The Baghaus Pelham has a faux snake finish in black, silver or gold with a very stylish braided strap. The Baghaus Horsebit comes in black, silver or gold also in snakeskin with a four inch handle drop.
Baghaus Pelham- $52.99!
Baghaus Horsebit Hobo- $52.99!
At only $52.99 each (for either style of your choice), you can afford to go glitter glam this summer and be able to afford the suntan lotion and a beach picnic too. Life really is a beach.
For Spring/Summer, Gucci has to gorgeous evening bags that will look just as good for a special night out with your man as they will for the red carpet. Just look at this bag:

Anyone would love to have this bag, and try to find reason to use it. It's not really a daytime bag, although you don't have to take the term 'evening bag' so seriously. But it really is a nighttime bag. Which makes it a little limiting for the wardrobe, considering the $995 price tag.
Then there is the problem of those little mirrored panels. They look great, but we would personally be worried about smudging or scratching them Meaning that you have to be careful where you put this bag down. A nice wrist strip would have been good to prevent some of these things from happening.
Now, don't worry – we haven't lost our love for Goddess Gucci, we just think this bag is impractical for most women (though we would still buy it in a heartbeat if we could). Which is why when the Baghaus designers tried to make an inspired version of this bag, they used faux croc instead of silver panels and included a wrist strap to make it easier to carry.

The Baghaus Evening Bag inspired by Gucci
It's no Gucci but at only $42.99 each, our red or black with gold evening bag will still turn heads without worrying about scratches or smudges.

Indy Floral Print Tassel Bag by Baghaus, $49.99 - Available in 3 colors
Floral prints never go completely out of style. Sure, they may disappear for a season or two but let's face it – during the dreariest days of winter, flowery prints look a little out of place, no?

Floral Print Shoulder Bag - $42.99
Come spring, summer or both, floral prints generally make their comeback. Some comebacks are more triumphant than others, as evidenced from the gorgeous Gucci bags that are very hot this season. From soft prints that remind you of faraway cottages or wind-strewn meadow wildflowers to bolder prints in bright colors, Gucci definitely has florals covered this season.

The Indy Tassel Bag in red floral print
We have inspired versions of both floral prints here at Baghaus. The Baghaus Floral Print Tassel handbag comes in a rich navy color while the two bolder shoulder bags come in variations of neutral browns or a combo of orange, red, green, blue and pink. Use the neutral colors for your 'serious' wardrobe and the colorful one for anything from a cruise to a day in the park.

At $42.99-49.99, these bags are affordable enough to buy an entire outfit to match each one. Now, we aren't advocating that you go out and spend your savings from the $900+ Gucci price tags on clothes. But then again, maybe we are. Would that be such a bad thing?
