Baghaus Hits the Bigtime

We are usually not one to toot our own horns (much) but once again, Baghaus has gained some fairly prominent national exposure. We were featured in the People magazine online StyleWatch. The StyleWatch section keeps you informed of the latest style trends of celebrities, whether they be greatness or gawd awful.

One of this week's entries is about the newest Gustto bag, which we actually blogged on just last week. The big Bacca satchel can be bought for a mere $760, or get it on sale for $100 off at Neiman Marcus! Still too rich for your budget blood? Ours, too which is why the Baghaus bag inspired by Gustto is only $52.99. We think it's a great price, and apparently so do the good folks at People's StyleWatch, who decided to link their readers to our page with the bags inspired by Gustto.

You can see the page about Halle Berry's Gustto love here along with the link to our Baghaus version of this chic tote.

Baghaus Gustto- 52.99!

With the featured segment on NBC's Today and some of the other media recognition we get, there is lots more traffic coming our way. But we couldn't do it without you, our loyal buyers and readers who have made us popular enough to get these mentions. Thanks from the bottom of our Baghaus Paddington tote!

Wear it With Gustto!

Gustto Setela- $595

When Agathe Planchon set out to make her first series of Gustto bags, she looked to Italy for inspiration, even though she herself was born in France. Though the French Riviera has long inspired fashion, books and design, it was the Italian Riviera that caught her eye, more specifically the northwestern region in and around Portofino.

The result is a set of bags that have a decidedly European influence, with both the charming aesthetic of Portofino and the chic look of France having influences throughout her collection. It goes to show that you can do what you know and what is familiar, but it doesn't hurt to branch out.

In the same vein, we as Americans can also be decidedly American while still dressing and accessorizing ourselves with European influences, such as with the Gustto bags. You might want to save up for awhile, though. At over $500 a pop to start, it takes a lot of cash to branch out. Specifically, the lovely Setela tote will set you back $595, and that is just for the medium size!

Baghaus Setela- $52.99!

If you don't want to save for weeks to buy a Setela, you can get the Baghaus inspired version instead. For a mere $52.99, you get your choice of a gold or black tote that has the chic look of a Gustto bag without the price tag. The Baghaus Setela comes with inner pockets including a zip pocket and an open cell phone pocket. Like all of our bags, it is designed for functionality, not to mention affordability, which may be the one thing that Gustto lacks.
