Sometimes, you can't do two things at once. Though we do love multitasking, it becomes very hard to do if you are carrying a handbag, trying to talk on your cell phone and shop or do something else at the same time. Trust us, it doesn't work. So we got a wireless handset, but where to put the cute clutch so we can use both hands?

5th Avenue Flap Satchel - $59.00
If this is a problem for you, then we have some solutions. We have a handful of crossbody or large, adjustable strapped bags that you can choose from to help solve the problem of not enough hands. Our first example is this 5th Avenue Flap Satchel, which has a strap large enough (when adjusted) to fit across your body, freeing up both hands for a heavy day of bargain clothing rack hunting.

Belted Duffle Bag - $52.00
Need something smaller than the 5th Avenue bag? Try our Belted Duffle Bag, which comes in a variety of colors including a bright blue, grey, orange, black and white. Cute, urban chic and hands-free – you gotta love that.

Genuine Leather Metro Crossbody - $90.00
If your taste runs to luxury or higher-end products, try our genuine leather Metro Crossbody. From shoulder to hip, this bag goes across your chest so you can have both hands free for whatever you may need them for.

Genuine Leather Messenger Bag - $90.00
There is also the genuine leather Messenger Bag that comes in six different colors including red, pink and orange.
The first British Invasion changed many things about music, and for the better. From the Rolling Stones to the Beatles, so much of the influence of that period is still alive and well today. The influence can still be seen in artists today.

We are not saying that top British budget fashion shop Topshop will change fashion – in fact it won't. But this is one British Invasion we are still looking forward to. With most fashions well under $100, Topshop will be a great and welcome addition to fashionistas everywhere during this economic downturn.

In case you are not familiar with Topshop, think a more chic H&M, except you can order their items online, unlike H&M. Well, online from the British Web site, which was of course in UK Pounds Sterling and had European dress sizes.
Instead, come September you will be able to buy from the new U.S. Web site that will feature all items in US dollars and with US sizes. In addition, a brick-and-mortar store will open up in New York City, the first stateside for the British import.
We have long admired Kate Moss' collection for Topshop, and now we can buy her creations without paying heavy import taxes and having to figure out what GPB translates to in USD. And just in time for us to spend half our Christmas present budget! Yay!
There are several new handbags here at Baghaus that feature a pushlock closure. Because this recent phenomenon is selling well, we thought we would feature some of the best examples of this easy closure for you here on our blog.

The Zebra Print Pushlock bag is made of leatherette and has plenty of internal pockets for extra storage of all your goodies.

Giraffe Print Pushlock Bag - $54.00
If you crave an animal print pushlock but want something different than the zebra, try out Giraffe Print Pushlock on for style instead. It has all the same great features of the zebra bag but with the giraffe print inspired by the popular (but pricey) Dooney and Bourke bags.

We gotta hand it to Jessica Simpson. Her line of shoes is selling pretty well and we like a lot of her new styles.

And in order to get her singing career back on track, she has chosen to do a country album. Her first single has leaked and is getting a fair amount of both praise and criticism though it is not exactly rocketing up the charts.
So what is a girl to do? Well, expand her fashion line of swimwear, shoes and sunglasses into lingerie, of course!

Fashion bible "Women's Wear Daily" says that the new line of underthingies will feature daywear, sleepwear, bras and panties and will be ready in time for release in Spring of 2009. There will also be shapewear that will hide any and all pantylines as well, which we are always game for.
We want to just yawn every time we read about another celeb fashion line, but at least Jessica has proven through her shoe line that she does have some style. Whether that translates into lingerie remains to be seen, but we admit to some curiosity. How about you?
At first, we really liked the whole gladiator sandal trend. They we sleek, sexy and had a little bit of a naughty look to them, which we liked. Shoes should be sexy, and the multiple straps and leg-enhancing style of these sandals really sealed the deal.

But somewhere along the line, this trend went from fabulous to overdone. Before you knew it, the shoes were overtaking the entire outfit instead of complimenting it. Now, we are all for shoes that make the outfit, but they still shouldn't be the entire focus of the look.
We also think that the look is being abused in the way it is being used. Nicole Richie wearing it with jeans – that almost hides the sandals and takes away the sexiness. Wearing them with jean shorts like Lindsay Lohan makes them too casual.

Wearing them like Ashley Olsen, Emmanuelle Chriqui and Heidi Klum is how this look is supposed to be done. It shows off the leg, improves the outfit and make the women look great.
We are on the fence about the sandals – they are overused and overexposed but when worn correctly they still float our boat. So for now, this trend is a keeper, just make sure you don't start wearing them with track suits or leggings.
Despite the title of this blog post, we are not huge fans of daytime soap operas. But one thing that we are fans of, BIG fans of is color and handbags. In fact, they are two of our favorite things.

Obsession Hobo - $56.00
Which is why we are big fans of the new Obsession Hobo. We love the basic black and bright white colors, but the yellow hue is our favorite. It gives you a big shock of color, is great for the current season and is also very trendy right now.

Perforated Cruise Tote - $56.00
Speaking of trendy, cruise bags are pretty big right now as well. Our Perforated Cruise Tote comes in great colors like yellow, pink and sky blue as well as basic black and white. Bright and roomy, they also have an easy pushlock closure.

Woven bags are hot hot hot right now. We do love them so – a bag with texture just makes you want to run your hands all along it and admire it as you carry it with you.

Casual Woven Hobo - $58.00
In honor of this big trend, we have a whole crop of new woven totes that we think you will love. We start with our Casual Woven Hobo. Casual, yes but it is also good for use at the office as it goes just as well with jeans as it does with career wear.

After 5 Woven Duffel - $58.00
The After 5 Woven Duffle has two different weaves on it, one smaller and the other larger. This brings a very interesting texture and look to the entire bag, setting it apart from other duffle bags. Choose from black, brown, grey or white to match anything dark or neutral in your wardrobe.

Envy Woven Tote - $57.00
Need something larger than the two previous bags? Try our Envy Woven Tote on for size. It comes in great neutral colors like black, brown and grey to allow for multiple clothes matching opportunities.

We are always blogging about our newest handbag styles, but sometimes it is nice to take a look back at some of our past bestsellers. This is particularly true when those past bestsellers are now on sale with deep discounts.

Cervo Daily Tote - $29.99
Our Cervo line of bags came out several months ago, and they are almost sold out. In order to make room for new styles about to be released, we have decided to clear the warehouse of the remaining bags from this line, meaning big savings for you. The first is our Cervo Daily Tote, pictured above. As the name suggests, this is a great daily bag to take with you anywhere, or even to use at the office.

Cervo Frame Bag - $29.99
The same can be said about our Cervo Frame Bag. At the office or while running errands, this bag will keep you in step and in style with ease. We love a frame bag, especially one that has a hint of a bowler bag look to it.

Cervo Shoulder Bag - $29.99
And finally, our Cervo Shoulder bag is the most popular of the three because of its simple lines and ability to match almost anything you want to wear.
All three bags were originally priced at $55 but can be had now for just $29.99 while supplies last, so hurry. Once they are gone, they are gone forever.
The mere mention of the words 'summer nights' would normally make us want to break into song, playing the role of Sandra Dee.

But, since this isn't the movies and we admittedly can't sing to save our lives, we will keep your eardrums intact and instead focus on another favorite of summer nights – new styles of handbags.

Floral Medium Tote - $56.00
Quickly becoming a Baghaus favorite, this Floral Medium Tote combines two tones of oh-so-hot yellow with flowers that scream spring and summer. A beauty of a bag that will become a summer wardrobe staple.

Melie Bianco Reversible Birds of Paradise Hobo - $66.00
Hot designer Melie Bianco must have had summer on the brain when she designed this Reversible Birds of Paradise Hobo. And since it is reversible, she also obviously had versatility on her mind.

Boardwalk Purse - $56.00
What says summer better than a boardwalk? Or how about a Boardwalk Purse? This dual tone bag has lots of bright hue combinations that are sure to please and match your closet's contents.

Melie Bianco Floral Print Shoulder Bag - $65.00

Striped Nancy Bag - Summer Colors - $48.00
This clamshell-shaped bag will turn heads and reminds us of the ocean with its nautical stripes. A true must-have for beach or boardwalk fun.
When we say "Get Smart" we are not just talking about the new Anne Hathaway movie that opened to big numbers this past weekend. We are talking about Ms. Hathaway herself, who seems to have made many smart moves lately.

First, she dumped her no-good boyfriend who has been charged with a few serious crimes. They broke up just a few weeks ago, right before the latest round of charges. Good timing.

Then she signed on as an ambassador for Lancome and will help launch their newest scent. Why is this smart? Because unlike so many of her celeb counterparts, she is not trying to invent her own scent. So many of these celebrity vanity scents just stink. It's nice to see an endorsement for an existing one for a change.

And then there is her fashion sense – which is always lovely. We have yet to see her in a real fashion disaster, which is very rare for such a young Hollywood starlet. She always look beautiful and well-put together. We just hope that just because she is quickly becoming a fashion icon (we might have to do a separate post about that later) that she won't all the sudden think she is a designer, another faux pas of so many of her peers.
