Crocs, Fashion and … Bindi Irwin?
Well, it was only a matter of time, we suppose. We talked about how many multi-taskers there are in the fashion and beauty industry. From Mariah wanting to sing, act (Glitter, anyone?) and now a perfume line to designers themselves who are branching out into makeup and fragrance, the whole world has gone mad. Nobody can seem content with doing one thing really well.

Now, we have children become multi-taskers. Bindi Irwin, daughter of the late Crocodile Hunter Steve Irwin has always had a modest line of clothing available at her family's Australia Zoo. By all accounts, these clothes were khaki (like her and her father wore) or very "touristy" which is industry speak for t-shirts that have crocodiles or "I Was Here" themes.

Enter family friend Palmina DiStasi, who has been helping Bindi herself design the new clothes, not all of which are relegated to the uniform of the Australia Zoo. "It's nice that now we can do a bit more with the line and since Bindi is older, she's done so much for it. We've even taken her own artwork and incorporated it into the designs, and she always tells us what she wants and doesn't want in the collection," said DiStasi.

No sketches or pictures have been released, but all proceeds will go towards Australian conservation efforts, which might make it worth buying a piece or two for the kiddo in your life.
