Dior Frame and (Empty) Pockets Bags
Don't let the Cruise runway debacle we talked about in our last blog post make you forget just how great Christian Dior is. Marble-appliquéd shoes aside, the clothes were breezy and had a distinctive Moroccan-meets-summer resort look to them that was exciting. The Cruise name for the line betrays just how intricate the designs really are, and how much we would love to own a thing or two from the collection, sans the Barbie wigs.
That kind of excitement definitely transfers over to the Dior handbag collection as well. The crazy but always fabulous John Galliano may not have designed the handbags, but that makes them no less interesting or must-have worthy. In fact, they are something that every good fashionista should have on her want list.
Of course, wanting and being able to get are two different things. Take for instance the new Dior frame bags. At $1300 each, they are fabulous but not worth getting an eviction notice over. The equally fabulous pocket bags are $1900, enough to drain the vacation fund and make you miss going skiing for Christmas.

Or, you can try the Baghaus pockets and frame bags instead. For just $49.99-59.99, you can get a stunning bag inspired by Dior. In your choice of tan, black, white or pewter for each style, they allow you to channel (no, not Chanel) Dior without paying Dior prices. Spend the extra cash on lift tickets and day-glo outfits for that skiing holiday you will be able to afford after all.
