There must be something in the water in Los Angeles, because several Hollywood starlets have turned up pregnant. There used to be a time when that meant very matronly clothes in only primary colors and flat shoes. Now, pregnant women are wearing designer and sometimes even custom maternity wear and heels (albeit no stilettos). Some of our favorites:

We think Nicole Richie looks like a cutie patootie here. Not only is she wearing something that clings to her belly as if she is proud, but she obviously also likes her new cleavage as well.

We are not as crazy about Salma Hayek's getup here. Since she is engaged to one of the higher-ups at Gucci, we have higher expectations for her.

We know Bridget Moynahan isn't pregnant anymore, but since she just gave birth two days ago, we though we would point out how beautiful this dress was just weeks before giving birth to her baby boy with ex-bf Tom Brady.

And what would a critique of pregnancy clothes be without a few rumored pregnancies that may or may not be confirmed soon:

We know big bags are in, but the pregnancy rumors have been swirling Halle Berry for weeks, so we gotta wonder if she is just following fashion trends or if she is actually expecting.
