Fashion Week in … Texas?
Yep, that is no typo in the title. We didn't mean to write New York, Milan or Paris. We are talking about a bona fide Fashion Week to be held later this month in the Lone Star State.
Though we are sure at least some of the fashion that will be running down the Texas runways will be inspired by the state itself, we are also looking forward to some really great clothes. Neiman Marcus is hosting a huge gala that many of the biggest names in fashion magazines will be attending.

Then there is the October 20-26 International Fashion Week in Dallas, to be held in the city's Market Center. The list of designers that are already confirmed (as of today) to be showing collections includes Bradley Bayou, Alvin Valley, and Nicole Miller.

Also confirmed for the fete is "My Name is Earl" actress Jaime Pressly, who will be debuting her new clothing line called J’aime. We have gone on record as saying we are mostly tired of all of these celebs getting their own clothing lines, but we love Jaime and the show, so we will give her the benefit of the doubt, for now.

Let's just hope the collection looks better than this beaded dud she wore to the recent Emmy Awards.
Tickets for the various shows are on sale for $40-150 by clicking here, Dallas International Fashion Week, with all proceeds going to charity.
