Fit Flops: Farce, Find or just a Flop?

OK, so we got a sales pitch in our email inbox recently about the new FitFlops that are coming out of London. Bath and Body Works was taking orders for a 'limited' amount that were available in stock. For the nearly $60 price tag (when you factor in shipping), we skipped out on the marginally fashionable stems, available in both red and black.

It wasn't just the cost, though. It was that we weren't sure we bought into the accompanying literature, that claimed that the FitFlops could 'help reduce cellulite' and 'help tone your legs.' Suuuure, a shoe can do all that!

Well, not only did the FitFlops sell out in record time, now they must be pre-ordered and you are essentially put on a waiting list for the next batch that is made available. Is there something to all of this? Could be, as more media outlets are reporting on them. We admit, we are going to pre-order a pair, and we will keep you informed as to whether they are the real deal. Let us take one for the team instead of you! See, we really do care!

I ordered a pair of the Fit Flops several months ago and finally received them about 2 weeks ago. I personally can't tell the difference from a "regular" flip flop (except for the price of course). They are very comfortable but as far as shaping your legs, I think that may be a selling gimmick!
