The new Versace Hit bag was introduced at a cocktail party last week that was co-hosted by Donatella and Vogue magazine. We love some of the It bags – you know, the ones made from things like calf lame, mirror leather and the like. Something like this:

It's a very beautiful bag, though a little on the flat side (i.e. thin), but we are sure we could figure out how to fit all of our makeup and baubles in it. Maybe we can ask Eva Mendes, who was spotted carrying it recently:

But we draw the line at this…

Yeah, this we can't get into. It is red fox fur, and though we are not from PETA, we think that this would have been better left on the fox.

Our prediction is that the Hit bags that don't look like a young girl's furry diary might be a big hit, especially since they are cheaper than the red fox fur version. We would be surprised if the fur one took off. But then again, we didn't think anyone would by the Louis Vuitton patchwork bag and Beyonce was spotted last week wearing it.
