We are getting a little tired of hearing about celebs and their newest designer pursuits. These announcements make us cranky because it seems like almost all of them are high-priced and not really worth the value. Remember, we are budget girls!

So naturally, we raised an eyebrow when we heard Kimora Lee Simmons was coming out with a new line. She already has the highly-successful Baby Phat line, which isn't as expensive as other celeb lines but still a bit pricey.

Then we heard the line was for JC Penny, the discount retailer who specializes in family wardrobes that are affordable. This made us quite happy at the possibilities.

The line is a sportswear line for juniors – which means there is nothing that we will likely be able to buy. But, the fact that Kimora is making chic clothes that are accessible to people without an unlimited budget for fashion.

The line is due to come out in time for back-to-school naturally and will be available online and in stores. It is a JC Penny exclusive, so don't look for it anywhere else.

On a semi-related note, we loved that Isaac Mizrahi did a line for Target, but it seems like their agreement is finito, meaning that another big designer making affordable lines bites the dust! We need more Kimora, quick!
