Michael (who now goes by his supposed birth spelling of Mychael) Knight was one of our favorite Project Runway designers ever. His inspired fashion during the season 3 competition last year was great, and he was one of the few who seemed honest and respectful, unlike the cad who won the show.

However, our love was deeply tested by his show during Fashion Week, where he unveiled a collection that made us question our loyalty:

Luckily, this misstep aside, Mychael has apparently found a sponsor for some of his new clothes – Starbucks. Though it seems like an odd pairing (fashion and coffee) Starbuck has put out CDs, so was the fashion world far behind?

Whether we like the clothes or not is not important, it's the fact that Mychael is apparently still working, because we hadn't heard much about him. He was one of the most talented designers that has ever graced the show, and we would hate to see his youth and love of too-tight clothes derail a promising career. So we are happy to see him getting bit corporate sponsorship.
