Milan Fashion Week 2007: Dolce and Gabbana
If there is one word to describe the Dolce and Gabbana show from last week's Milan Fashion Week, we would say that 'dramatic' fits it perfectly. Never before have we seen such drama from D&G, from the bold use of color to some almost outrageous prints, the runway was definitely a feast for the eyes. But was it a feast that you would want to wear? The jury is still out on that one, as we know that what goes down the runway isn't what always ends up on the racks. We will let you be the judge:

It's not the pattern or color that we object to on this dress as much as the fabric. It is just too thick and heavy and looks like something your mom would use to reupholster an old sofa.

Although this dress looks a bit stiff, too we do like it. Overall, despite the harsh fabric it still looks like a nice summer dress, although obviously for the evening.

There is just too much going on here. The extra fabric at the bust, the random fabric at the sides … it's just confusing.

This is too poofy for us to want to wear it. Toned down and less dramatic, it would be a great outfit. But as-is, it's just too much.

We love the colors on this one. It really pops, but again – stiff fabrics and much too structured. A loser fit with flowy fabric and we would be all over this.
