The exasperated tone that Jan Brady used to use in reference to her older, more popular sister Marsha is the same one we are using on our beloved fashionista, Mischa Barton.

Even Urkel can't understand what Mischa is up to

Has the demise of The OC left her in a fashion depression? We know she has been working since her character was killed off a few seasons back, so surely she wasn't relegated to the bargain bins at the thrift store.

But if she was bin diving, even that wouldn't explain these high-waisted styling missteps. We know that high-waisted pants were on everyone's Hot List for Spring, but we didn't think they would actually catch on! Or perhaps we were hoping they wouldn't, because let's face it – the cut of these pants is not for everyone! And although Mischa has a gorgeous bod, even she can't pull off this mess. They look like mommy pants on steroids, because they are even longer than the much-maligned mommy pants, which were skewered to perfection a few years ago on Saturday Night Live.

We have news for you, Mischa: the pants are no more popular now than they were then. Please go back to your old, glam self! At least your stylist knows how to pick out the perfect handbags.
