Tired of the same old shapes in handbags? Well, we never get tired of bowlers or frame bags … or hobos … OK, so we don't get tired of any type of handbag. But just because we love the status quo doesn't mean we shouldn't change it up every once in awhile.
The absolute best example of this is our new Urban Expressions Balloon Bag. It is arguable our most unique shape yet, and that is high praise considering how many truly uniquely-shaped bags we offer here at Baghaus.
After several seasons of skinny jeans, relaxed fit and boot cut are slowly coming back.
Katie Holmes seems to love baggy jeans, as she has worn this same pair (from a men's line of jeans!) several times recently around New York City. Of course, the rumor is she might be pregnant, thus wearing the baggy jeans to hide a burgeoning bump.
OK, so this actually wasn't the Lucy we were talking about when we first started writing up this blog post, but it is the first Lucy that comes to mind when we hear that name. And who wouldn't love this Lucy? Her show is still hilarious all these years later – how many comedies can say that in today's modern day? Not too many!
We are rather hoping that the second Lucy that comes to mind when you hear that name will be this handbag. The new, simply-named Lucy Purse is a beautiful handbag that will look great slung over your shoulder or carried on your arm. The Alma Awards may not be the Academy Awards, but we love them anyways. People dress up and come out to celebrate Hispanic culture in film, television and the arts. There is almost always something inspiring in the show, along with a lot of laughs and fun. But we wanna see what the gorgeous Latino ladies are wearing, too!
Host Eva Longoria Parker had a whopping nine clothing changes! We love our clothes but that is a lot of changing! She looks glam and gorgeous here, though.

We just love designers that can take a trend and put their own chic signature on it, which is why we love Melie Bianco. We have been carrying her line of handbags and totes for a few months now here at Baghaus, and the response has been spectacular. We expect nothing less than that same response for her newest bags:
Braids are big right now, and this Braided Large Hobo combines braided handles with a hobo style bag that is also very trendy right now. This beautiful rust color will give your wardrobe a lot of pop. We love this for daytime use, it can be used to add color to a jeans and tee combo or dress it up with a sundress. It would also look great with the maxi dresses that are all the rage right now.
As the calendar turns to the sweltering month of August, some people are only thinking of how high the mercury will go. Many aren't even thinking about bundling up for fall. Except for fashionistas such as you, of course. Fall fashion is now available, and we have the best of the collections right here, starting with Gucci.
The fall collection is called the Hysteria Collection. And it features some things that are carryovers from the current season, like these gladiator sandals. Of course, they are in fall colors and styles but still maintain the swords and sandals look.
We know fringe is big for fall, but we can think of other ways to spend $1200. With our luck, they would probably get caught on the leg of a table or chair.
Yep, tassels are going to be big, like this $650 belt. Ouch! We love it, we think its chic but for that money, we could buy much more than one belt. Imagine all the Baghaus bags you could buy with that money … hmmm …
Either way, the new collection is stylish and chic, just like you would expect from Gucci.
