Part of being a fashion and handbag blog is that sometimes you find some really ridiculous stuff that designers come up with. They are definitely things that make you go, "hmmmm …"

Now, with global warming concerns at an all-time high, we do have to give Chanel props for thinking of the environment. But that is where the props end. This 8-speed bike featuring the iconic Chanel quilting is retailing in the UK for the US equivalent of $9,813.

Personally, if we wanted something quilted, we would go for this, from our own Baghaus collection:

Now we admit, this belt is gorgeous. It is stylish, hits on the metallic craze and looks good on almost any sized woman. But would we buy one? This is one of those red-carpet only looks – great for starlets to wear, not so great for the everyday woman.
