The best revenge for a bad breakup with a controlling jerk is to look fabulous and be successful. If you can do both of these things at the same time in the public eye, then that is even better. Our poor, dumped Jessie Simpson tried to do both those things and came out with some rather uneven results.

First, she changed from the brown hair that Mayer apparently wanted back to her trademark blonde. She is also back to filming movies, though we won't talk about her track record with that one. But the most public display of her having moved on came at last week's Miami fashion shows, where she debuted her swimwear line. Let's take a look at some of the pieces, shall we?

Not only is this piece very basic, but we are distracted by the fact that the model in question looks like Denise Richards trying to regain her youth. Oh, and the hat just doesn't look right with this.

Cute, but very basic in our opinion. Plus, the model once again distracts because at quick glance it looks like pre-K-Fed Britney. You know, back when she wasn't ravaging her body with cheetos and alcohol.

We actually thought this one was cute and would probably wear it.

Same with this one, very cute.
