Summer Wedding Attire

June weddings are as big a part of summer as watermelon and swimming pools. And although we adore wedding during any season, a summer wedding poses a more difficult fashion choice, particularly if it is an outdoor or location wedding. But never fear, we have some wedding wear advice as the sun continues to heat up.
First rule of course is never to upstate the bride. No matter how formal the event is, always remember it's the bride's day to be the center of attention. It is particularly important to remember this point of the bride in question is a bridezilla.
Most weddings are semi-formal. In summer, go for bright colors (yellow is hot right now, as are shades of magenta) and flowy dresses. A simple and classic pantsuit is also great for weddings. If it is outdoors, sleeveless dresses are appropriate. For a beach wedding, sandals and a light print or solid color like beige that won't make you hotter work really well. Try to avoid flip flops though, as these are much too casual, even for a beach or resort wedding.
For a more formal fete, go for silk, silk chiffon, or taffeta. If it's fall, wearing black or gray colors is perfectly acceptable, though not so much in spring/summer. A few examples of various dresses that are perfect for a wedding:
