The Best of Ugly Betty
If you are like us, you have been absolutely hooked on the freshman hit Ugly Betty. With this week's tear-inducing season finale, we decided to take a look back at some of the fashion (both good and bad) that has helped make this quippy, witty and outrageous show so close to our hearts.

Our heroine, as we first saw her way back in episode 1 (and yes, we have been watching since day 1). This is perhaps the ugliest outfit ever, and prepared as viewers for what was to come. Of course, it was spoofed in the Halloween episode, when Wilhelmina's assistant Marc dressed up as Betty:

We get tired of the staff beating on our beloved heroine, but this costume made us laugh out loud and was deliciously mean and funny.

From the same episode, Betty in her Halloween costume. We realize she was supposed to be a sweet little butterfly, but where did this butterfly come from? The tunnel in Willy Wonka's factory? And let's not forget her (then) boyfriend's costume as the butterfly catcher. We won't show you a picture of Walter, because we want Betty to hook up with Henry.

But the character we secretely love the most would be Amanda. And not just because she has some of the best lines in the series, but because she can play multiple characters. Remember the homeless woman on the subway urging Betty to ditch Charlie? And how can we forget Betty's short stink at MYW, where she met up with Becki Newton playing yet another character:

We are glad Amanda is secretely Faye's love child. That way she has a nice juicy storyline to take her well into next season. Sans coconut shells, of course.
