Well, it's been two episodes now of Tim Gunn's Guide to Style on Bravo, and we are ready to weigh in with our opinion.

We love, love, LOVE Tim Gunn. Project Runway is by far our favorite reality television show. We don't know what it is about Bravo, but they do reality competitions superbly (we are also addicted to Top Chef).

That being said, we were a little underwhelmed by both of these episodes. We feel the show has great potential, but it tended to drag in a few places. And there are moments at the end when the made-over person is revealed to friends and family that reminded us a little too much of that other Bravo maintstay, Queer Eye for the Straight Guy.

We love Veronica Webb, but the chemistry is just not quite there with Tim yet. And we think her styling is much too severe. She looks angular in her hair and makeup instead of soft and effeminate. In previews and advertisements, it seems like they do have chemistry, so let's hope that it is coming in future episodes!

We are soooo glad though that this is not a blatant ripoff of What Not to Wear. The snooty and forced one-liners of the show start to get on our last nerve after awhile, and we feel that type of snobbery is beneath the dignified Tim Gunn. Kudos for avoiding that pratfall! Now let's see where this still-iffy show takes us! We have faith in you, Tim!
