Every once in awhile in fashion, there comes a moment where your eyeballs fall out of your sockets and all you can think is … what on EARTH!? The following pictures are a prime example of this concept. In fact, they might very well define this concept.

From our dear friends in Japan come the bikini jeans.

Yes, this is all one piece of denim, with the denim panties sewn into the rest of the jeans and zippers holding their shape on the sides. There is no traditional buckle or buttons or even a fly. The jeans are held up by the bikini strings and the fact that they are so darn tight that you would have to peel them off.

And just in case you think that these are just a concept and that nobody is wearing them, we have a few pics to prove that indeed, people are wearing them out in public and on television:

In fact, the hideous jeans are apparently catching on so much that they decided that the usual denim wash simply wasn't enough. No, they had to make them in different colors as well, like this white pair that is even more risqué (and in our opinion trashier looking) than the originals:
